Just a few updates 28/12/03
I've changed the layout of the site just a little bit. It was annoying me and I didnt have alot of navigational room. Hopefully the page looks a little better for those that are running lower resolutions, I'm sure it still looks a little strange though. I've also updated the photo gallery with descriptions for the pics, if you were wondering who the hell the picture is of now is the time to find out.Well it has been a mixed few days lately. the 24th was officially my christmas this year, I got to spend the entire day with Steve's family which was outstanding, and they gave me the most generous gifts!!! I really enjoy being involved with my boyfriends family, ive never had this chance before. I will be updating with new photos of my speakers that Steve bought me for my computer. Finally I have floor thumping bass! W00t
The 25th was a crap day, it started out ok with my family arriving and general christmas stuff happening. Later in the day Nathan invited Steve and I to go sleep over, sounded fun so i got my stuff ready and then I recieve a phone call from Steve saying he's had a car accident *heart ripped out of chest and stamped on* I was shocked and worried however they were both ok, steve had a few sore muscles and chest. His car will possibly be written off and he will get a new car hopefully. I've never been so worried in my life and it really helped confirm just how much I depend on him.

Does anyone else hate humidity? Its one of the worst weather conditions around I think. Just makes me feel like crap. In other news my tagboard died, thats what I get for using free stuff :) Because of this i've decided to do a little remodelling, nothing big just a little alteration here and there. Ive wanted to add stuff and change some others so keep watching :) Its almost christmas, oh wow 1 week exactly from today! This christmas is going to be extra special for me. I will be spending it with Steve's family. This is HUGE for me because before they knew about us being together they were not really nice. Now they do know and theyve been exceptionally nice about everything. Moreso than I would have imagined. I hope all of you are safe and dont get into any trouble with parties and stuff :)HO HO.... you HO! 08/12/2003
Well school has been over for a couple of weeks now and i'd actually forgotten about the site lol. I haven't done all that much really, because Steve got a new full time job at IPN so now he's working all week *boooo* but its good work and he likes it alot so i'm happy for him. Today hasnt been very productive. Ive been up since 7:30 because steve rang me on the way to work to tell me to get online and check this travel site cuz they're offering $1 flights across the state! But of course they've made it extremely hard to get them. So since then i've been sitting here refreshing every few minutes in the hope of grabbing a seat. So far i've got one, but its looking impossible to find another for me.So its almost time for christmas, this year it seems extremely difficult to buy anything for anyone. I've bought a few things that theyve told me but other than that its pretty screwed up. If anyone out there wants to buy me a new printer cartridge in both black and color it would be really appreciated!!
For some reason people still actually come to read this babble, Ive had 30 hits in just 7 days, which to me is incredible that I even get 1 a month. Well whoever you are out there thanks alot! Dont forget to leave me some comments people :)
School Work 07/11/2003
As my school year comes to a close I am forced to do more work on projects and tests and stuff so I will be updating less for this month. I'm currently better now the cold left me. I rang up the computer shop on wednesday and they said they are getting the dvd player that I want on Monday so hopefully tuesday afternoon or wednesday I can go get it. I cant wait! Well my weekend has been one of mixed blessings, so I will recap from friday.Friday:Half way through the day my skin started feeling sensitive, u know that weird feeling u get when u are sick. So I had the inkling sickness was on the way. Boo to being sick. Well I got home from school to find the final DVD I had on pre-order X-Men 2 sitting on my computer desk. I'd been awaiting this release for a long time as I am a HUGE fan of the X-Men Universe. By friday night I had succumbed to the sickness and was sniffing and coughing and general blah. I ended up watching about 3 of the 7 hours of features on the dvd before I ended the day.
Saturday:I woke up at 8am 2 hours before my alarm was set. Stevey came over after a week of not seeing eachother. I missed him alot. We did general lovey stuff and snuggled and watched tv and also watched the actual X-Men 2 movie. Gotta love this movie it features the evolution of my favorite character Jean Grey into the future Pheonix character. I had a fun day on saturday but was still feeling the effects of the sickness.
Sunday:Today I actually feel better except that my ears are constantly blocked which makes listening to music sound awful. Steve worked today so I spent a few hours enjoying the rest of the features on the X-Men disc, now I have only to listen to the 2nd audio commentary and then everything is completed!! Well here I am at the end of sunday. Lets hope I am better tomorrow for school :) Cyaz

Its been a few days since last time, not alot has happened however there were a few highlights. I have found a shop in Melbourne that actually sells the DVD player that I want and yesterday I went there with Steve to check it out. It turns out they dont even have a TV in the shop so I guess I will just have to buy & try. Steve and I also went into the city and watched a magic show put on by some charity group in Melbourne. It was quite good, well the main act was. The supporting acts were not great. I came out of the show with a big headache because they put the music on too loud (sheesh I must be getting old!!)Steve stayed overnight and went home around 3 today. We played DDR on the Playstation and watched episodes of Absolutely Fabulous. IT was good fun. However I had my heart set on seeing the Freddy VS. Jason movie yet Stevey would not go with me :( so I ended up seeing it with my grandmother. She rocks with that kind of stuff lol. As a huge fan of the Nightmare On Elm St movies I enjoyed this film alot. It was incredibly bloody compared to stuff that has come out lately which was a big surprise. If you liked the Elm St or Friday 13th movies then you will enjoy this installment. Heck even if u just want to see many many kids get hacked and slashed go see it! Pretty high head count in this one *thumbs up*
Time's Running Away From Me 22/10/2003
Recently it feels as though I am having no time to do the things i like to do. I dont know why as I dont seem to be doing anything else that takes up time. maybe i'm just getting old, who knows lol.I think my cd burner might be acting up, it doesnt seem to hold its buffer after a while, and the cds have rings of data, instead of one big block. Don't know if thats a problem but it surely cant be good. Thx to the free p2p network in victoria I have downloaded a fair share of stuff that I need to watch, however the time thing prohibits this. I am working on getting a new DVD player that can play DivX and Xvid encoded files, if i manage to get one of these then I will be able to watch all this stuff *fingers crossed*
Finally I have started playing a game called Star Wars: jedi Academy. It is really good! I'm surprised how well they've recreated the star wars light saber battle stuff.
Stupid Relatives 19/10/2003
My uncle did something completely stupid today. Steve and I were doing computer things and then my grandmother comes in and starts to say the power will be shut off. I say tell them to wait so i can shut do..... *power gone* The idiots didnt even give me time to shut down the pc. So when it came back I checked my precious downloads and one 700mb file had been corrupted!!!! Thankfully it fixed the file and resumed it. Grr at them. If you've ever been to my site before you will have noticed that I have changed the layout. The previous one wasn't made by myself and I just couldnt take using someone elses work any longer. So here we have my very first decent looking web page layout ever! Using all sorts of wonderful technology such as javascript and DIV layers and CSS!Check out the photo gallery! I love my 3G phone, it rules lots so you can be sure that there will be many new pics on the site. I dont know how many of them will be any good but hey its my place I can do what I like :P
As for school, well I dont think i've ever wished the weekend would come this fast at all this year, until now. I dont know why but i'm finding school so boring! Maybe because this is the time when everything is due in (damn that conspiracy) I just dont feel the need to do well in any of it. Shame really.. seeing as though I really do need to study so I can get a job and whatnot.
I think I will end this entry now as i'm feeling quite tired for a few reasons a)school b) waking up early to get to school c)seeing my stevey and d) stressing over school!
P.S. Not being invited to birthday parties that I really thought I would be invited to, sucks ass. I hope YOU feel bad about this cuz I sure as hell would
working on Layouts & Good News 13/10/2003
A few things have happened since I last updated. On friday I submitted the WBS that I had been fretting over for the previous week. I emailed it to the teacher at 2:05pm and was then told that he would be leaving school at 2.. oh dear... well it turns out I was lucky as he had stayed a little longer (possibly due to knowing late bums like me lol) so yay for that.After school I went for the weekend to Steve's house which was really fun. It gave me an interesting insight into how things might be when we live together. Although I do think their house has too many doors. I felt like I was in that movie The Others where they shut one door before opening the next... Fun was had by all :)
I left Steve's in the afternoon on Sunday feeling quite tired from the early mornings i'd endured, I cant remember what I did for the rest of the day. Today I went back to school and was pleasantly surprised by the school marks i've recieved. For a student who doesn't do much work I get surprisingly good marks. Here is a rundown of classes and marks for you all.
Java - Test 68/70 - Would have gotten full marks but I was lazy in my coding and tried shortcuts, the teacher didnt like that.
Project Management - Test 38/50 - I rocked up to this class thinking it was normal, but we actually had a test so I had done no study. This mark really surprised me as I HATE this class.
Project Management - WBS 16/20 - Again with the surprise, I thought it sucked
Diagnostics - Test 50/50 - Yay me full marks, WOOT!
This has been far too long an entry so for now I will end this entry, I just came home from seeing a movie but will update with that tomorrow. Also look out for a brand new layout, i've been learning skills and want to use them. peace
Assignments & Tests & Charts.. Oh My... 09/10/2003
Why do teachers insist on clumping all assignments into the same space of time. Honestly its some conspiracy, I bet there is some dubious email going around to all teachers telling them to make assignments due in the same week. Just to piss off us poor students.I've handed in one of 4. The easiest of the lot. You can see the product of that assignment here, it isnt that great but its all hand made so yay me.
Now I along with 99% of my class have to figure out how to do a WBS for project management class. It seems that nobody knows whats going on so I have no hope of copying it lol. God school sucks this week.
I cant wait till the end of school on friday though as I get to spend 3 days at Stevey's house. Hopefully we will watch a few movies that ive had for ages. Should be lots of fun. Too bad Nathan and Graham cant come. Oh wellz..
Pirates Of The Carribean 07/10/2003
Finally watched Pirates of the carribean today with stevey, and overall it wasnt a bad experience. I do think it could have been cut about 20 minutes shorter as the movie was over 2 hours long when it didnt need to be. I wont spoil the plot but there is a whole heap of useless fighting in there which could have been left on the cutting room floor.The guy that played jack sparrow (can't remember his name at the moment) did a considerably well job of acting the part of pirate. I prefer his style to the over-the-top HARRRR pirate crap that the bad guy did. blergh
Back to School - Boredom again 06/10/2003
One thing I seem to have no proper grasp of is time. I don't know why, but for whatever reason, I just cannot seem to calculate dates and future plans. Take for example my latest time mis-management. I have just come back to school from a short break. I had completely convinced myself that this break had a duration of 3 weeks. As usual I had homework that needed to be done during this break. So I thought hey, i'm going to enjoy the first two weeks, and then get down to study in the third week. Sounds like a fantastic plan don't you think? *WRONG*Thank god I checked my school diary planner thing on the saturday because as it turns out there is no third week!! So after I recovered from the shock of going back to boring ass school already I planned the homework to be done on Sunday.
Well I managed to complete my website for HTML class. It looks dodgy but hey its hand coded and suits the requirements. Oh wellz :)
Slacking Off Yet Again 27/09/2003
Well i've done it again lol. I stopped updating the website. How typical of me. I dont really remmeber alot that has happened in the past week and a bit that I havnt updated in. My chobits dvd box and volumes 1 & 2 + free tshirt came two days ago. I'm so happy hehe and Steve watched the first episode of Chobits with me. I like it when he watches my shows, makes me feel special :)Well i'm on holidays now. The tops that I bought from northland a few entries ago, well they werent such a bargain after all. One of them ripped a tiny little hole on the sleeve and they both shrunk in the wash lol so now they're pretty tight. I dont mind the tightness so much, in fact i think it makes me look thin again which is good. I miss thin.
Today Steve and I went to Nathans house where we met his friend Graham. He seemed pretty nice, I hope we didnt scare him off, I dont think we did. We helped Nathan pick nice clothes for some parties he's going to some time in the next few weeks and I think we did well for the amount spent.
Currently Watching: .Hack//Sign & Angelic Layer I am liking both of these shows at the moment. .Hack is an original concept, based on a MMORPG. I wish we had virtual reality online games like that, would rock hehe. This series has fantastic music that is ALWAYS playing, just like in a game how there is always music. Its done very well.
Angelic Layer is a creation of CLAMP the very best anime/manga artists ever!! Have a look at the link above for more information but so far this series is worth the watch. Its the usual CLAMP style, where the main character goes through lots of personal growth and comes out a better person. But this show has fighting dolls! lol its very cool. Well thats about it for me tonight. I'll try to get my DVD and CD list up sometime these holidays. I'm interested to see how many I actually own hehe. Saiyonara

After muuuuuuuuch waiting the term break is almost upon me and my schoolmates. After a week of tests and stuff I get a well deserved break. Lets just hope I survive the tests so that I can at least finish the term with a bang!In other news I just went on a little online shopping spree. I bought 4 DVD's at DevotedDVD a DVD shop thats kinda near me but just far enough to warrant purchasing online. I preordered X-Men 2 for a great price at $30 AUD for the 2 disc special edition! I also got 3 Chobits DVD's as I have thoroughly enjoyed this series!
